In August my wife and I have a 6 hour stopover in Bangkok airport. Has anyone stayed at the Miracle hotel by louis tavern in the airport. They have 4, 6 and 8 hour stopover package. We would like to do this as we are flying from Brisbane to London and would like to have a rest and shower during the stopover.
Or has the underground walkway been finished between the airport and the novatel hotel?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Have you used these day rooms Trever? If so could you please provide more information?
I have found out from our Travel Agent that you can book it through Thai Airways, our travel agent has now organised this for us, it is currently on request. Cost for 6 hour is AUD$98.00

Hi Roger are you talking about the http://www.miraclegrandhotel.com/#a ? Haven’t stayed there, but Don Muang is the old airport, not the new one, unless you’re going domestic. There are plenty of reviews online, often conflicting. Here Hope this helps.

I have used it. Louis Tavern is the chain of lounges at Bangkok airports as well as having restrooms. Now they might have restrooms at more than one place since they have three or four different lounges but I have only used one of the restrooms.
It was situated quite far off on the second floor above one of their lounges. there might be an entrance from the main floor but I went through the lounge since I had been there a few times before. Its a very quiet and peaceful environment. The rooms were pretty basic and not large but modern and kept well clean. Its only a year or two old. The showers were clean and there was a cleaning lady roaming the floor all the time. Not sure what else to say, I didnt have any fun views or anything just a basic room but that was all that I needed. The airport in itself is pretty hot so the shower is really worth alot. If youre used to brittish/autsralian or NZ standards you wont have any problem at all stying there and I would recommend it rather than leaving the airport and heading out to Novotel.

Thanks Sean for the info, we have a 6 hour stop over and my wife really wants to have a shower and a lay down between our flight from Brisbane to Bangkok and Bangkok to London.
We had it confirmed yesterday from our travel agent for $98.00 for 6 hours.
Thanks for your feedback.
