Can anyone tell me where there is a shop in Phuket selling European food products? I heard a name and it sounded like European....

Hello Carolyn.
Unles you are looking for something out of the ordinary, the regular supermarkets will have what you want. The best two are Tesco Lotus and Big C. They are near the centre of the island, any taxi driver can take you there.
Otherwise tell us what you are looking for and we will see what we can suggest.

I think your best chance for slightly more gourmet products is at Tops in Central. They have a slightly different range to Tesco or Big C. What products are you after? If it's meats and cheeses, you could stop at Les Anges Patisserie at the Royal Phuket Marina on the way back from the airport. It's just on Thepkassattri Road (the main road you drive along before you turn onto By-Pass to head to Patong.
Also, Carrefour at Jungceylon carry a bit of a range of imported products.
