See if you can identify the boat from the picture: in the background. I am trying to discover the name of the boat so I can contact the operators. The group pictured committed various acts of spear fishing during a trip to Burma. Many are catalogued in pictures found in a camera. Yes, not working, can't find it.
I personally hate spearfishing and will do anything I can to prevent/stop it, but take into account that it is not illegal in Thailand nor in Burma (except for the national parks like the Siomilans and Surin and a reserve like Shark Point).
So yes, let them know you're not happy with it, and something like this would be a reason for you not to go on their boat, and spread the story.
