Hi there, I'm spending 5 nights at the Duangjitt Resort in Patong Beach next month and am after some feedback from anyone who has stayed there in the past! It looks pretty OK... but I'm still not prepared to trust everything that I've read about it in travel brochures and on the hotel's website :P Just interested in things like the quality of a standard double room, what the pools are like, service in general, location in relation to the beach itself, but really, anything you have to say about it at all would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hi misokatsu, My family have stayed there in late 2006. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the rooms at all. The pools are to absolutely wonderful (3 of them) with the main pool being one of the largest in Patong, plus the swim up bar. We had no problem whatsoever with the service we had. It is closer to the southern end of Patong beach but we don't swim at that end at all. It is close to the oTop for shopping and 10 to 15 minute walk to Bangla Rd. Its on a huge chunk of land which makes it very quiet. Currently there are building/reno's but this should not hinder your stay. You will thorougly enjoy the Duangjitt as we did. Have a great time in the land of smiles. regards os2go
