Well after much planning we finally leave tomorrow night on the 11.30 thai airways flight from Melbourne.
We have 9 days in Vietnam before we arrive in Phuket. Staying at the Patong Merlin, where we have stayed before, for 10 nights. Can't wait to see what has changed since our trip at the beginning of 2006.
We then have 5 nights in Bangkok.
Really can't wait for some warm weather, as Melbourne is really cold now.
Anyone else staying at the Paton Merlin between the 24th June and the 4th July?
Will post a JBR when we return..... although I am not even thinking of that yet.

Have a great time Pam, as I'm sure you will and enjoy the Merlin. We will be there in August, seems like a long time away but only 8 week's. Getting a bit cold in Perth too but sunny day's for the last few so no complaints.
