I normally fly into Krabi on Tiger Airways from Singapore. Their web site has no flights scheduled after the end of March 2008. Does anyone know if Tiger are withdrawing services to Krabi. Their call centre only says that they have not been told about flight schedule to Krabi after March

I have given up trying to get information out of Tiger Airways both in Australia and in Singapore and are flying into Phuket and getting a Transfer to Krabi - about 2 and a half hours journey. Only way after end of March appears to be from KL or Bangkok

Hi guys,
I believe alot are experiencing the same issue regarding about flights to krabi by tiger airways.
Initially, tiger airways do have flights out to krabi, however due to increase in costs, tiger airways has seized all flight operations to krabi temporarily until further notices. Being the only budget airline that has a direct flight to krabi in singapore, those who are living there may want to try getting to krabi via other alternatives.
For singaporeans, those who prefer convenient over cost may want take airasia to KL and then transit to krabi.
Another alternative is by rail train from singapore to KL transit to krabi by flight or to penang and then transit to krabi by ferry. It is definitely a cheaper alternative however the downside is it takes several hours to reach its destination.
These are the 2 possible ways of getting to krabi. It has their pros and cons so do consider them.
GL, Jo
